RHU Community Event: Sundown 6 Hours @ Road Atlanta

Enigma Racing announces its entry to the battle at Road Atlanta.

The team will hire Monika and Raphtalia as the two drivers.

Team Shoku's announces its Sundown 6 Hour entry. The team will enter the #69 Toyota Supra JS1 sponsored by Castrol, and will count with Kan'u Unchou and Chou'un Shiryuu's efforts behind the wheel.

Squadra Corse Avanti will enter the race with drivers Darius Flynt and Isuzu Sento.

Mooncraft Team Chronos will join the race with Rena Hayami and Sakura Kagamihara. 

Tri-City Corvette Racing will be entering the race at Road Atlanta with Johathan Cross and Ryo Watanabe

Nightbird Motorsports will be signing Kainé and Lina Navarro for the Sundown 6 Hours.

NISMO Fujinami Racing Team announce their entry in the race with Tifa Lockhart and Momo Deviluke as the drivers.

Newly formed collaboration MPTS by Toyota Team Kamiya Autoworkz announce their international effort with fellow Polytechnical Alumni Asuka Kazama and Emilie de Rochefort as the drivers.

“Yo, you called? What’s up boss?”

Akiha looked up from the paperwork she was filling out on her desk and handed it to the chief mechanic. “Here, take a look.”

He quickly skimmed the contents. “The Sundown 6 hours, huh? Let me guess, you want to enter?” He sighed. “I know you get distracted easily, but shouldn’t we be focussed on getting home instead?”

“We can’t do anything until Tomie gets back from her vacation, and who knows when that will be? You can’t expect me to just sit around waiting, can you?” Akiha snapped back.

“Fine, fine.” He raised his hands in surrender. “Shall I go prep the Porsche?”

“Nope.” Akiha grinned. “I’ve got something a little more exotic for us to work our magic on.”

The signature beeping of a large truck reversing could be heard through the open door. “Speak of the devil, sounds like it’s arrived.” She motioned towards the door. “Well, aren’t you curious?”

The mechanic let out a low whistle in appreciation. “She’s a beauty, you’ve really outdone yourself this time Akiha.” He raised an eyebrow. “I’m almost going to feel bad tearing her down.”

“Almost?” Akiha smirked. “This should keep us busy for a while. The aero parts are on order from Europe, but everything else is up to us.”

“I’ll start tearing her down then, I leave the paperwork in your capable hands.” The mechanic whistled as he walked back to the garage. “Never thought I’d get to work on a Maserati.”



Akiha’s office, a few weeks later

“So how goes the build?”

“Well we’re pretty much finished on the chassis side, we’re just waiting on the aero parts to show up so we can work on fitment. You’re leading the engine team so you probably know how that’s progressing better than I do, but overall we’re actually slightly ahead of schedule.” The mechanic scratched his head. “So, have you got any drivers lined up yet?”

Akiha nodded. “I’ve given Tohru a call, she’s on board. As for our second driver… take a look at this.”

The mechanic checked out the sheet of paper he’d been handed. “What is this, your fake ID from highschool? Wow, your boobs haven’t grown at all.” He swiftly dodged the paperweight that had been aimed at his head.

“Shut up” Akiha pouted. “And that’s not me, check the name.”

“Akiha… Tohno?” The mechanic frowned. “Wait, does that mean she’s…?”

“A version of me from this world, yeah.” Akiha finished his sentence. “I can’t wait to meet her.”

“Wait, won’t the two of you meeting destroy this timeline? You can’t do that!”

Ahika smirked at the mechanic’s panic. “Too late, I just sent the email.”

Suddenly both of them were stricken with a feeling of deep unease.

“It’s that same weird feeling as when Luna Corse won at Abu Dhabi.”

“Or when we won at Bathurst, yeah...”

The two stood in silence for a moment. “So uh, are you sure about this, Akiha? She’s only C rated, and the regulations allow us to pair Tohru with another B rated driver.”

“Of course I’m sure.” Akiha winked at him. “After all, there’s nobody I trust more to drive the wheels off a car than myself.”

“Not literally, I hope. We had enough of that during Dream GT.”

“Touche”



Project Vermillion will enter the race with a Maserati MCGTE driven by Tohru Kobayashi and Akiha Tohno.

Jonas Maluch, owner of the 4X Motorsports Group super team, has announced his intentions to compete in the Sundown 6 Hours at Road Atlanta. Running the all-new second generation Aston-Martin Vantage JSA-GT, it is understood that he intends to improve 4X and Aston-Martin's brand presence in the United States. Their drivers are the well-rounded driver Zoe Calvo and unlimited-class Pro Street legend Gavin May.

On the same day, not to be outdone by their rivals, Empress Autosport also stated their intentions to race at the Sundown 6 Hours. A recent partnership with Slightly Mad Studios sees the team rebranded as Slightly Mad Empress Autosport. This is a fitting name given their strange contraption of a racing car, the Maserati MCGTE. Racing for this highly unusual marriage of ambitious game studio and aggressive sports car racing team are Miyama no Nyotengu, a provocative personality who rose through the touring car ranks, as well as Kaguya Shinomiya, one of the recent hot young drivers in the Saimoe GT Championship.

Aces High Racing, if the race is still looking for applicants, looks enter the race in car #414, with Sadie LeBlanc and Noire as hired drivers for the event.
