Hello everyone,
The first round of the Aeternam European Sportscar Series was huge! 32 cars battled it out for glory at the national layout of the Hockenheimring circuit last Friday night. But we started really late, with me even being unable to make the original 9 pm GMT -5 "deadline", and we started instead at like 10:20 pm or something fuzzy bunny.
To reduce the likelihood of late broadcast starts, I would like to move the Aeternam Euro Sportscar Series race start dates to Saturdays instead, which would allow me much more time to prepare upgrades, talent file updates, and ensure that everyone's information is correct. If all goes well, it would allow me to broadcast races at 5 or 6 pm GMT -5 instead, which would allow more managers to attend them in person. Also, it gives everyone the chance to run testing on Friday!
In addition, I'm thinking of having a one week break between rounds next season. This will allow for both even more testing time for managers, as well as for me to possibly broadcast support races or tinker with Balance of Performance issues. This may possibly mean a season may be up to 16 weeks instead of the original 10 to 12, but I will see how this season pans out first.
(Also, public apology to all teams that sent in setups tonight. I will run all the tests tomorrow. Have been feeling less than ideal. Apologies.)
