Jackson Racing
Team Manager: Camyron Jackson
Team Summary: Originally started as a single entry team in a lower tier Stock car series in 2007 as "Racerworkz", Jackson Racing had an humble beginning with an ambitious goal courtesy of its founder Camyron Jackson. His tenacity was impressive considering he was balancing it along with attending High School and a job, making it a mostly weekend warrior kind of deal that was slowly gaining support. Once he graduated, it was full steam ahead and the team became a more regular competitor, only missing out on a championship by a few points. It was at that point that Jackson racing was now a reconized competitive team. From there, the team began experiencing regular seasons of competition with Jackson behind the wheel most of the time as well as being the main driving force in getting sponsors and spreading the word while now being able to get drivers. The team has since grown in size and has included many disciplines in its history, so much so that the team would move to a much bigger Facility sitting 105 acres of land. It houses the most diverse collection of racing cars anywhere in Texas, varying in many different forms of racing. The facility also houses a similar style shop specifically setup for the restoration and maintaining of classic racing cars. While the team has grown in staff (partly due to the economic decline on the late 2000s causing mass layoffs), Jackson still remains the primary controlling force as he still does all the deals for contracts with sponsors as well as continues the team's Promotional work. No matter what series its in or what name it takes on and whether its the boss behind the wheel or another driver, chances are Jackson Racing will be there.

Summary:
Ingrid is the daughter of parents that were around during Soviet times. She has lived in her home country for almost her whole life, but wants to change that; as she wants to see the rest of the world for herself. She thought of the best way to do that, and that was racing; then she could see all of the places and race world wide, and hopefully fulfill her biggest dream. Neither her nor her family could afford actual racing training, so she used her VAZ-2107 as much as she could to get the hang of things herself.
Other than being offered help, she prefers to be by herself. Ingrid finds it easier to do everything herself with no one else to mess anything up but her. She's so used to have no one helping her that it's become second nature to her to do anything and everything by herself. Her being alone most of her life has also made her socially inept. It's hard to keep a conversation with her because she'll never know what to say back.
But hopefully, GRL will be a great change for her. She'll be able to have great teammates, and overall, many great seasons of racing to come.
Roleplaying Notes:
-Daughter of Soviet parents.
-Some natural ability, but needs to improve pure skill.
-Disillusioned with home country, wants to see the world on her own.
-Self-taught, all-in-one racer using a VAZ-2107 for any event she could enter.
-As such, she is very independent. Unlike others though, she doesn't refuse help/input, but she has trouble using the help as she never had help before.

Summary:
Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Andrew was born into a rich family. His father was a huge sports fan, and was eager to make Andrew a success in the world of sports. He forced him into every available spot in a sports team from elementary to high school, until Andrew chose Basketball. He learned how to be a good teammate, and never went for his own glory if he meant losing. Even if he had a chance to score a point, he was never sure about his accuracy, and would pass it to another teammate to get the point. His teammates liked him, but his father was very annoyed. He told him to either start scoring, and leave the team. Andrew knew what was next, and began to worry.
In a game that would punch their ticket into states, he was given the ball with only a couple seconds in the game. All he needed to do was score a 3-pointer, and they're off to states. The teammate he usually passes to looked at Andrew with wide eyes, flailing his arms yelling "I'm open! I'm open!" Andrew looked at him, looked at the net, and shot. He didn't miss, and they were off to states. As a reward, the team coach took them to a local karting track for a celebration party. Andrew watched his teammates race around the track, laughing when they crashed. His father walked up and handed him a helmet, and told him to get in there.
Climbing into the kart, suddenly everything seemed to go quiet, and when the Marshall told them to go, Andrew flew. He had never been so focused, and lapped him teammates twice in the six lap race. His father, teammates, and even the Marshall looked in amazement as Andrew slid the kart's rear end through the hairpins, and barely lifted through the sweepers. Everything clicked, and Andrew was was only a blur flying through the track. When the race was over, Andrew exhaled, and everything was back to normal. He climbed out of the kart, and saw everyone looking at him with puzzled looks. Andrew chuckled a little, and asked "What?"
His father knew that he was much better at karting than basketball, and after high school he campaigned Andrew for five years of karting, winning every championship he raced for. In 2008, he entered the Formula Ford 1600 series. He had moderate success, and finished 5th in the championship. He would race in F1600 the next year, and finished 3rd. He impressed his father, and they stepped up to F2000. Andrew took what he learned in F1600, and became the championship runner-up in his first year. He was getting faster after every race, and it seemed like the sky was the limit.
After another year of campaigning in F2000, he met some good friends, and they decided to enter the 24 Hours of LeMons at Sonoma Raceway. They road tripped from Albuquerque to California in their E30 BMW 330i LeMons car, fixing what ever was wrong with it. When they arrived, they saw the competition, and knew it was going to be a walk in the park. They were the pace setters the whole weekend, impressing the other teams. Andrew learned that he was more of a team-player than a single-seater lone wolf. When he raced, he stayed consistent, and only pushed when he needed to. However, he met stiff competition with another E30 330i BMW. Him and Andrew battled throughout his stint, with Andrew coming on top. When the race was over, Andrew's team had won, and they were approached by the man behind the wheel of the other 330i. He owned a team that was racing in American Le Mans. He asked who was driving during the battle, and Andrew raised his hand. Him and the team owner spoke for hours, and after months of negotiations, Andrew got a seat.
It was 2013, and Andrew was an official ALMS driver in the PC class. He raced for RSR Racing, paired with Bruno Junqueira and Alex Popow. They met moderate success, and scored podiums at Long Beach and Road America. Andrew kept his consistent driving style, leaving the sprints to Bruno. When they needed a buffer until strategy was to come into play, Andrew was the man behind the wheel, logging in some times. This attracted man teams, and in 2014, Andrew got another full ride in the top Prototype class with OAK Racing, and has been there since.
Andrew is a very consistent driver, and will surely keep the car safe at all times. He does lack speed, but will be good for teams looking to score points every round.
Roleplaying Notes:
-Never goes for glory, only does what needs to be done.
-Very rich.
-Loves McLarens. He'll talk about them all day.
-Congratulates everyone, even his rivals
