Last week was a bit of a breather, but this weekend has proven quite busy! So here's another dev update to get you all back in the loop~
Driver Stats Testing
We've made some strides in balancing the six Driver Stats against each other in races. To accomplish this, I have a dedicated spreadsheet that allows me to generate AI performance parameter files for a particular driver and the track type they'll race at. This is to get around the limitation in ISImotor-powered games (such as rFactor and Automobilista) where AI stats are the same across all tracks. The sheet also factors in whether a driver's Stats are 'capped' at base, or if they cannot benefit from a positive increase due to a Specialty.
Track Testing
The RH Universe contributors and development team have been looking into additional tracks for future seasons, as well as possible replacements. We can't really say what these tracks are just yet, but rest assured - plenty of possibilities ahead.
Team Base and Finances Progression Sheet
Testing of the Driver Character Sheet appears to be positively received among playtesters; although a few minor bugs remain, we're very close to releasing a public version of the sheet for public use, so you can create driver stats quickly! Our attention has turned towards the next sheet required to manage one's Team, one focused on the Team Base and Finances. Currently, it only has the ability to track Staff capacity and hired quantity, but this is only one small feature of hopefully many. Check out a preview of its current state below.
