Round 3 of the ataGO! J-Speed Association GT Masters
With its tropical backdrop and unique home straight grandstands, Sepang International Circuit is a modern classic for many a racing fan. Long, wide corners challenge both the aero packages and the guts of drivers hungry to shave every last fraction of a second. The first corner complex is a key overtaking section, as is the final hairpin - getting a good run onto the preceding straight in either case is critical. The wide track width allows for very aggressive racing compared to some other modern venues - a late-race turnover for the lead might be likely.

Special Rules
REDUCED FUEL CAPACITY
In compliance with the series regulations, the following car classes have their capacity reduced:
GTE PRO: -25% fuel capacity = 63 liters (was 85)
GTE AM: -15% fuel capacity = 102 liters (was 120)
MANDATORY PIT STOPS
You can't have a scheduled stint go beyond 37 laps - this simulates minimum driving time for Squad members.
PRO Strategies*
A one-stopper is the way to go here - only question is, do you stop early, or late?
Time Spent on Pit Lane
A stop in pit lane will cost you around 21 seconds PLUS pit service time
Tire changes are ~8 seconds
Filling to full fuel is about ~21 seconds
A full service (tires + full fuel) stop costs you about 44-48 seconds
Tire Progression on Hards
Soft tires are about ~0.7 seconds FASTER at first
Medium tires are about ~0.5 seconds FASTER at first
1:50.8 ~ 1:51.6 -> initially
1:51.7 ~ 1:52.7 -> around 50% life
1:52.8 ~ 1:54.9 -> around 25% life
1:55.0 and worse -> 0% life remaining
Minimum Driver Conservation Stat
Tires drop below 50% life around lap 18 (~30-32 min) for Hards, lap 16 (~25-29 min) for Mediums, and lap 9-10 (~14-17 min) for Softs
Tires drop below 25% life around lap 27 (~45-49 min) for Hards, lap 24 (~40-44 min) for Mediums, and lap 14 (~21-24 min) for Softs

* Data was gathered using a 20 Speed, 20 Finesse driver - expect the actual times to be a bit slower
Notes:
1 Driver will pit in for tire wear at this point
2 Driver must pit in for refueling before this point
