Round 4 of the ataGO! J-Speed Association GT Masters
Round 4 of the ataGO! J-Speed Association GT Masters
First introduced in the 2018 season of the J-Speed GT Masters, the Chang International Circuit is a tight ribbon that consists of two distinct halves. The first half consists of long, narrow straights where slipstream battles are certainly possible, but risky; Turn 3 in particular is a common site for massive outbraking moves. As the second half of the lap commences however, the track suddenly becomes quite technical, with a number of short kinks and sweepers that require much momentum to be carried through, and passing is next to impossible. As a result, traffic management will be critical in order to minimize time loss.

Special Rules
REDUCED FUEL CAPACITY
In compliance with the series regulations, the following car classes have their capacity reduced:
GTE PRO: -25% fuel capacity = 63 liters (was 85)
GTE AM: -15% fuel capacity = 102 liters (was 120)
MANDATORY PIT STOPS
You can't have a scheduled stint go beyond 44 laps - this simulates minimum driving time for Squad members.
PRO Strategies*
Expect fuel to go 42-43 laps, really
A one-stopper is the way to go here - only question is, do you stop early, or late?
Time Spent on Pit Lane
A stop in pit lane will cost you around 22-24 seconds PLUS pit service time
Tire changes are ~8 seconds
Filling to full fuel is about ~21 seconds
A full service (tires + full fuel) stop costs you about 51-54 seconds
Tire Progression on Hards
Soft tires are about ~0.6 seconds FASTER at first
Medium tires are about ~0.2 seconds FASTER at first
1:26.8 ~ 1:27.5 -> initially
1:27.6 ~ 1:28.3 -> around 50% life
1:28.4 ~ 1:29.6 -> around 25% life
1:29.7 and worse -> 0% life remaining
Minimum Driver Conservation Stat
Tires drop below 50% life around lap 22-23 (~30-33 min) for Hards, lap 20-21 (~26-29 min) for Mediums, and lap 11-12 (~14-18 min) for Softs
Tires drop below 25% life around lap 33-34 (~45-49 min) for Hards, lap 30-31 (~42-45 min) for Mediums, and lap 17-18 (~22-26 min) for Softs

Notes:
1 Driver will pit in for tire wear at this point
2 Driver must pit in for refueling before this point
