This is a work in progress, so not everything will be in there yet. I don't expect it to be a complete list of everything, but the most significant cars are documented with a few having specs and car classifications along with their era. Click here to check it.If you want to spit ball some ideas or talk about specific cars within the universe or potentially might be in the universe, feel free.

This is really fun; I have a couple ideas for now (sorry if this is all complete nonsense lol):
-are you sure about the Viper being notably easy to drive? Most sources I've heard have said that it's quite the beast -wouldn't it make more sense for the IMAS MR-S to be branded as an MR-2? Or is it a special deal with that car in particular where it's built by a Japanese privateer or something? -is the 918 RSR not a hybrid in this universe? afaik it was in real life, unless it's an in-universe regulation thing -this is super picky, but given the naming conventions, I think it would make more sense to have DBR9 as the model name and make the variant "standard" (going off the DBR1 below it) -didn't the Corvette C5R also have a 7L V8? is this also a universe thing?
-maybe it would be fun to have a version of the Gillet Vertigo with that weird 900 hp engine it had in Gran Turismo for some reason -also I'm begging you to write the Nissan GTR-LM into the canon as not a complete failure like in real life
all else I can think of at this point is silly stuff like the Deltawing or whatever

Thanks for picking those out. The 918 RSR probably should be a hybrid since hybrid technology is used a lot within the RHU canon, starting as back as even the Supra HV-R. The C5R is a good spot, I'll correct that. The GTR-LM is most likely much more successful in universe due to the way that the canon goes before the exodus period of 1997-1999. Now imagine this at Le Mans with this kit.

The story behind this specific variation of the MR-S is that it's a privateer import of the JSA-GT car with several unique changes, most notably a V6 engine swap to bring it closer to IMAS GT class specs. It probably should be homologated as a MR2 in IMAS, though.

TIL The MR-S in the US was just called the MR2 like normal... I swear it was called the MR-S!!! Am I going crazy? Also, where does the V6 come from?

also, is there some sort of easy cheat sheet or something detailing the irl equivalents of the fictional manufacturers? I'm having a hard time figuring them out from the list

A few safe assumptions can be made, though: - Mikado is essentially DOME with hints of Welter Racing - Vittorio is most like Dallara, with some ORECA models thrown in on the sports car side - If it's UK, NZ, or AU built or designed IRL, it's likely a Scarlet model in RHU - Aleph is a weird mix of All American Racers and Ligier

There's a few more that I remember like Vertis as well.

Something cool to think about -- I know that Momoko Murasama told me that after the 307 rally cars started to be more coupe like, but I wonder if in the 90s we already saw some attempts? I remember seeing this artwork of a 240SX rally car on Pixiv, but of course there's also stuff irl like the RX-7 Group B car and such in the 80s. Actually, rally racing is probably a whole other can of worms in the RHU canon. What would we call Protons? XD Edit: Aha! Found the artist! Here's the source of the artist!
