Summary:
A descendant of the great rally and sports car racing legend, Marie Nogaro, Elodie is an industrious young prospect. Having led a fledgling team to back-to-back championships in both the driver and constructor standings in last year's International GP Series by Scarlet league, it seems like "stepping down" to GT racing should be the last move she should be making. Pursuing a career in Grand Prix racing, while very popular and very prestigious among the elite racing drivers of the world, left Elodie very lonely at the end of the day. The so-called "Grand Prize" was no longer enough for her; after being unceremoniously dumped by Third Eye Motorsports last season despite the titles, she was left without a ride.
Even as a descendant of a family of great racers, Elodie was the only child born from her parents. To her, a close friend is very much like a sister or brother she could not have. She became a racer not because she wanted to recreate Marie's exploits, but because she wanted to make more friends and rally them around a common cause. Prior to her dominating successes in the 2014 IGPS season, Elodie would be in a yearly cycle where she'd win numerous races, yet fall short of the championship title... and then get thrown out of the team she drove for shortly afterwards. It seemed like signing on for Third Eye Motorsports in 2014 would have been the best move at the time, but even after winning two driver's titles for them, she greatly regrets ever going forward with their offer.
As a result of being seemingly friendless in the world of Grand Prix racing, Elodie made a conscious decision to switch to sports cars. The cut throat nature of GP racing meant it was very easy for teams to blame her for any falls they didn't want to take. After a stream of bad luck with teams far too perfectionist for their own good, Elodie really just wants to race for a team that she can love... and one that will also reciprocate that same love back.
Roleplaying Notes:
- Generally a hard-working, loyal person, Elodie has a hard time being convinced to join other teams if she's already signed for whatever her current team may be.
- Elodie strongly dislikes drivers with a strong background in Grand Prix racing due to being frequently dumped by teams from that discipline.
- A good way to make her sad? Mention her Grand Prix career.
- Considering how frequently she got dumped by GP teams, you'd think she would have made the switch to sports cars sooner. While definitely far from stupid, Elodie is remarkably naive.
