I would like to upgrade both facilities (Factory and Design) to level 2 I would also like to have the following upgrades: Billet Crankshaft (factory level 1 part) and also Vortex Generators (Design level 1 part) Thanks! Momoko Murasama

Momoko Murasama I would like to upgrade my facilities to lvl 3 on both Factory and Design centre. And a question about the upgrades. The rules state that only 5 upgrades can be developed at the same time. Does going from a lvl 1 upgrade to a lvl 2 take up one of those 5 spots? Or is it one per category for upgrades [ie: Bottom End, Exhaust, Side Skirts etc...] and that I can just stack on all the parts available at the current facility level? Factory and Design Center facility levels aren't counted in the upgrade count. If there are multiple components in a given category (ie. Side Skirt) at the same level, you can only pick one or the other. This was in a previous iteration of the rules and I accidentally left it out. The upgrade category doesn't matter, all upgrades count +1 towards the maximum count of 5 at a time. Okay, thanks for clearing that up. In that case, I will then like to upgrade the Factory facilities to Lvl 2 Design centre facilities to Lvl 2. I would also like to develop/install Lvl 1 Vortex Generators and Lvl 1 Head Gasket.

Really, really sorry for this, but after a couple of participants and I did the math with regards to finances and car development, I've had to make one final change to the rule book. If you don't want to read through the entire thing again, here are the important changes: - Full season budgets have been lowered to 4 mil Cr. - Revision to 4.2. You must now complete an upgrade from the previous level. So for example you must build a Level 1 upgrade, wait 2 races, and then you can build a Level 2 upgrade if you have the needed Level 2 facility. - Clarified 4.4. Basically, you must participate in 2 races after starting to build a upgrade, so an upgrade built before Race 1 will be complete in time for Race 3. - Clarified 4.5. Car upgrades. - Revision to 4.7. You can only now build 2 car upgrades at a time. If you posted your upgrade plans before this, you'll have to make revisions. If not, I'll assume the first two legal upgrades you list are the ones you want to develop during this weekend.

Wyrmwood Racing Team have decided to start work on Level 1 Vortex Generators and Level 1 Head Gasket in relation to car upgrades. At this point in time they will not be changing their facilities. We would like to also announce a partnership with Qantas for at least the next season as our major sponsor. Our livery has also been completed, images are below.

Akiha doesn't think the 911 RSR can shred tires well enough, so Project Vermillion have begun development of an in house Billet Crankshaft and Head Gasket.

The first round at Yas Marina begins Friday night at 8 PM GMT -5 (given up to an extra hour). For this series, your only race strategy control (please send via PM) is fuel load. This is the amount your car starts the race with, as well as how much the pit crew fills every stop. For most cars 85 to 100% is good for one stop. 100% fuel is about 34 to 39 laps depending on the car.

Momoko Murasama Okay, so I've just had a thought when it comes to upgrades/prototypes. If a team is currently developing upgrade parts for their car, are they allowed to prototype upgrade parts at the same time, or are you forced to wait until the development of upgrade parts are completed?

JimmyT1996Good question. You are allowed to develop both non-prototype and prototype parts at the same time, as long as the allowed number of upgrades isn't exceeded. For example, I can develop Large Front Canards normally, but have Vortex Generators as a Prototype part. Until either of these parts finish though, I can't develop any further upgrades. There is also nothing in the rules that is stopping you from turning a non-prototype part into a prototype mid-development (and vice versa). If you did do that, then the perf/reliability penalties will only apply to the races remaining.

If people would stop punting her off we'd be leading the championship right now." "Uh, I don't know about that..." "You're right." Akiha's smug look turned serious. "We're not fast enough yet. We need more." She spun around to face the mechanic and jabbed her finger at him. "Alright! I want forged pistons and lightweight internals on the car, and I want them last week!" The mechanic shrank back from her gaze. "That's not even possible though..." "Of course it is! Anything is possible if you put your mind to it! Now get to work!" The mechanic shuffled awkwardly. "No, uh, I meant it's not allowed in the rules. We need to develop an Eco ECU first." Akiha's expression took on a dangerous tone, and her right eyebrow twitched. "I don't think I heard that correctly. Care to repeat it?" The mechanic gulped nervously. "Um, the rules say we need to develop an Eco Ecu first..." He braced himself in anticipation of the outburst he was sure would come. "Oh, do they?" Akiha's voice was calm, but tinged with a hint of rage. "Well, what do they say about developing it and then smashing it repeatedly with a baseball bat? Is there a rule against that?" The mechanic tried to retreat further, but his back was already pressed up against the wall. "I-I don't believe the rules say you actually have to run it, no." Akiha gave him a perverse smile. "Good. I'll have the appropriate facility upgrades ready for when you return to headquarters. Do be sure to give it the absolute minimal effort required." She turned and strode purposefully out of the garage. The mechanic didn't relax until he was sure she had left for good. He wiped away the sweat that had formed on his brow. "What have I gotten myself involved with..."
