herecomesthepasta Please specify if you're upping Design Center, Factory, or both facilities Sorry about that. I'm upgrading the Design Centre to level 2, and investing in Vortex Generators and Large Front Canards updates.

It's almost time for the GT Stars of Sugo - strategy changes are due on Sunday, 3 pm (GMT -5). All team data sheets have been updated. In addition, another amendment to the series rule book regarding development of Next Season's Car has been added. To summarize, Rule 5.3 allows teams to build any prerequisite upgrades at the same time as a part they want to develop. For example, if Alice Autosport want to develop EX Downforce Wing for Next Season's Car, they may develop High Downforce Wing at the same time. The goal of this rule is to allow teams that have fallen behind either in this season's championship fight or in car development to level the playing field or even gain an advantage in the upcoming season.

Momoko MurasamaI'm don't understand the wording of the new rules entailing the development of upgrades for next season's car. Is it still 3 parts per development cycle? Or are we now allowed to develop multiple parts for next season's car?

Momoko MurasamaI'm don't understand the wording of the new rules entailing the development of upgrades for next season's car. Is it still 3 parts per development cycle? Or are we now allowed to develop multiple parts for next season's car? It's still 3 parts per dev cycle. Teams have always been allowed to develop multiple parts towards next season's car, though. However, if you wanted a particular upgrade for next season, you'd have to do it like this (using EX Downforce Wing as the "target"): Cycle 1: High Downforce Wing (required) Cycle 2: EX Downforce Wing You can now do it like this: Cycle 1: High Downforce Wing + EX Downforce Wing What this allows you to do is "fast track" car development. Before, the only real benefit to upgrading towards next season's car was that you'd save 50k or 100k... not much compared to the wait to actually use these parts.

Would like to Upgrade Head Gasket and Header flow to Level 2. These are Factory Level 1 upgrades, the upgrade parts themselves can't be upgraded to a Level 2 variant unless it exists (and currently only some aero parts have them as options).

Crap, I knew I missed something. Sorry to sound stupid, I should've asked before I even posted. To clarify (hopefully): everyone's car at the start of the season was a "blank slate", with no upgrades whatsoever. The upgrade list in the OP shows what is possible, not what you actually have on the car. This is why even though we all start with a Level 1 Factory and Design Center, we still have to complete or prototype the car upgrades to actually use them.

Driver Contract:
UGR will keep Tyler Morgan as their driver for the remainder of the season. Upgrades:Low Drag Endplates [Prototype] Low Drag Side Canards [Prototype] Header Flow + [Next Season Upgrade]
Sidenote Momoko Murasama I believe there's a mistake in my racing team's Sheet, as the previous rounds upgrades [Billet Crankshaft and Canard Endplates] should be marked as completed [since I initiated the build of both before rounds 5/6].

Aotech Green Flag Racing are under significant financial stress and have hired Princia Ramode to drive their car for the last two races. It is likely the team will be unable to return for DGTC Season 2. racecarYou can only develop 2 parts for the current season car. Billet Crankshaft will be shifted to next season's car, unless you want something else.

Project Vermillion Pit wall, Autololis Autopolis Circuit Moments after Tohru’s crash“Damn it!” Akiha smashed her fist down on the console in frustration. The mechanic gave her a wry smile. “I don’t know why you’re so upset, this is our best result since Bathurst.” Akiha rolled her eyes. “I’m sorry, shall I break out the champagne?” “Something with a little more kick, I think. Hell, if our results are going to be like this we should try to grab a booze sponsor for next season.” “That’s a damn good idea…” Akiha muttered under her breath. She removed her headset and sighed. “This run of misfortune… why does it feel like deja vu?” A melancholic silence fell upon the pitwall. Akiha took on a ponderous expression as she spun her chair around. “Say… do you think we can get the car ready in time for the next race?” The mechanic nodded. “Of course. It’ll be like new.” A wicked grin spread across Akiha’s face. “Make it better than new. I want a precision machined bottom end and the fanciest fucking camshafts you can make. Nobody is going to be able to touch us in a straight line.” The mechanic frowned. “In that timeframe? I can’t guarantee they’ll be very reliable…” Akiha shrugged. “Who cares? Even if it blows up we won’t finish any worse than the last 4 races.” “Fair enough. I’ll get right on it.” Akiha leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms. “Good. Let’s end this disaster of a season on a high note.”
Project Vermillion will upgrade it's design center to Level 4 and prototype: - NA Ultra: Pro Racing Camshafts
- NA Ultra: Precision Machining

Momoko Murasama So I'm confused at the moment. You said on the Discord that we were allowed to install/prototype parts for the last race of the season, yet I've already got 2 aero parts on the car already as well as an engine part in development for next season's car.
